i'm a huge fan of michael weinberg - he's written some really awesome articles over the years about the intellectual property concerns associated with 3D printing. i previously posted about his analysis of Autodesk's decision to open-source their resin:
i just discovered his 5-year anniversary post, commemorating his 2010 article for public knowledge, “It Will Be Awesome if They Don’t Screw it Up: 3D Printing, Intellectual Property, and the Fight Over the Next Great Disruptive Technology” . he's released a handful of the interviews that lead to that articles, which offer a really cool snapshot of the space from a time when it was much less 'frothy'. here's an awesome interview with Adrian Bowyer, the founder of RepRap.
